We've had 2 great scouting experiences within the last month. David competed in his first pinewood derby and came in fifth and received 'Best Sportsmanship'. Robby was able to be one of the finish line judges. We also had a double court of honor. The first half was for the entire troop. Robby received his 2nd class which he actually earned about 6 months ago. He's only a couple of activities outside of his troop meetings to receiving his first class. The second half was an Eagle Court of Honor for a young man, Nick, that we knew their family in San Antonio and now they're up here with us. Bruce was able to give the Eagle Charge to him. The Bishop (Nick's dad) gave some statistics that were quite eye opening. 2 out of 100 boys that enter the Boy Scouts earn their eagle, 97% of Eagle's go on their mission and 98% of boys that go on their mission get married in the temple. This is definately an inspired program and really brings out the best in the boys. With 3 boys and an eagle for a husband, I think we'll be in this program for quite some time.

Welcome to blogging! I do notice that you may want to change the color of your background or perhaps the text. It's hard to read as the colors clash so much. It's definitely addicting!
