For President's Day we all went to a science museum in a nearby town. Bruce actually had the day off and we didn't have anything for school planned so we had a family day. The only drawbacks were 2 of the kids were getting a cold and just about everybody decided to have a family day that day :) Despite that, we still all had a lot of fun and slept well that night. 1st picture is of all 4 kids in an old buggy. Next is - surprise, surprise - Lea on a phone! Next is Robby playing with lasers. They had laser light shining and little objects that had mirrors on them so you could redirect the light of the beam. 4th is all 4 powerful kids in front of King Poseidon. 5th picture is of Lea playing a laser harp. They had lasers going down and as your fingers passed through the laser it would play the note as if you had just plucked the string. 6th picture is of Cato trying to balance on a surf board type of thing. I actually caught the picture on the 2 seconds that he had it straight! 7th picture is all 4 of my boys (David is hard to see but is on the other side of Bruce) playing with a smaller replica of the rover on mars. You could punch in a program and then watch it do what you 'commanded' it to. I think Bruce really enjoyed this one :) The next picture just made me think a lot. This one in a section called 'Progress'. I thought this makes a good point, when you come to the cross streets of hope and fear, which way will you go? 9th picture is David playing with an old fashioned cash register. You could actually push the buttons and the drawer would come out after turning the handle on the side. Below is a video of Rat basketball. It was really funny to watch these little rats making baskets. We were in the back so I got a few heads in the video - sorry!
