Project Time!

It has been awhile since we've had a big project. Bruce LOVES doing proejcts on the house, but with his residency schedule, he just hasn't had as much time (thus the reason we bought a brand new house). He got an idea going in his head and he just couldn't let it go. He is brilliant with his ideas of what to do to make our home better. I love being married to someone who gets so excited about making our home more beautiful. The spark in his eye as the pieces are coming together is something wonderful to see. I also love seeing it develop in the kiddos. Anyway, we are adding a small room down in the basement and so our storage will be a little smaller (which is fine because we have a ton of it). He's going to knock out part of the wall between the T.V. room and where the storage is now so it'll be kinda like a bar into this new room. He's going to put in a sink and some cabinets so we can put the microwave and mini-dorm refrigerator we have on the cabinets. There will be room to set up a card table also to play games. It'll make our teen hangout place even better! Here are some pictures of it just getting started. I'll keep everyone posted as it goes along.
